Dramatic Realism
The Calico's intricately detailed log stack and glowing ember bed are painstakingly recreated
from an actual wood fire complete with logs, coals and embers. Then they’re hand finished in
natural wood tones throughout the deep bark patterns, split wood highlights, and even the smoked,
charred features of an active fire. The Calico features a dual burner design that re-creates a deep,
glowing and mature ember bed, but also with plenty of yellow flame. The control and gas train
assembly is completely hidden from view to maximize the realistic scene.

air quality. The control and gas train are 100% factory assembled and tested.
The Calico's unitized design also makes installation a breeze. Just complete the gas connection using the
shut-off valve and stainless flex connector provided. And Design Dynamics's logs don’t require any
break in or "burn off" period, so you can enjoy your new heater instantly, and with the convenience
of remote electronic ignition and operation from the hand-held control.
